Ok, here we go.

The Ninja Turtles.

like I said before- basically I was thinking about a lighter more "fun" version of the turtles. think ben10/teen titans ... a 7-12 aged boy target audience.

The idea here is that this is the Turtles during the beginning stages of their training. Splinter has been going to the surface as long at they can remember. As they come into adolescence, they become curious to what the surface is like and what their Master does up their. They follow him one evening and watch a little younger, more agile splinter take on a group of thugs that were trying to mug a young couple. When splinter seems to be outmatch the turtles TRY to come to his aid, but cause more problems than help. Splinter overcomes the thugs and saves his sons, but he decides that it is time to begin training the young brothers in the ancient art of Ninjitsu.

This sounds like a great concept for the show!
Besides, love'd how you pulled off them in a "teen titans" style

THIS should have been the new Ninja Turtles show, instead of what they have on the air now!
